We had a wonderful stay at a charming boutique hotel in San Jose. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and lovely balconies overlooking the town and sea. We enjoyed using the outdoor swimming pool and having breakfast on the terrace. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk to the main street and close to the beaches. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, quickly resolving any issues we had. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and watching the sunrise over the bay was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommended!

I would recommend a stay in this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. View on the sea and mountains at the same time. The hotel is not in the centre, however the town is not big, so it is not important. The local restaurant was offering nice meals for good price.

The room was lovely and spacious and quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room balcony was nice and the view was lovely. Good to have minibar in the room.

It would have been nice if there had been a bar, or one in the restaurant, for pre-dinner drinks. In the event, we met in our rooms and used the mini bar to keep our drinks in. It would have helped if we had known in advance.

We had an incredible time exploring the hiking trails that brought us closer to the incomparable Cala de San Pedro. The tour desk at the hotel was so helpful in providing us with all the information we needed to plan our adventure. Plus, the small promenade of Las Negras had countless gastronomic options that pleased everyone in our family.

For dads, it would be great if there were more outdoor activities for children.

Basically, the hotel is quite okay...

But we had cockroach after cockroach coming to our room! They were huge and quite aggressive. The hotel receptionist didn't apologize, but offered us to have our room desinfected (while we were still staying there!), or to move to the next room (which would hardly make any difference, because the cockroaches seemed to be coming from there!). She actually wanted to know if the cockroaches were really 'several', or 'just one', indicating that 'just one' can hardly be a nuisance.

I recently stayed at El Dorado Cabo De Gata for a week-long vacation. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the English-speaking receptionist who helped me out when I had issues with my motorbike. The hotel has a great location, just a five-minute walk away from the main street and restaurants, with stunning views of San Jose. The room itself was spacious, airy, and had a lovely view of the resort and bay. It was clean, comfortable, and had a large balcony where I could relax and enjoy the scenery. The hotel also recommended a restaurant called El Octopus, which had delicious food and a great ambiance.

The window of the balcony didn't locked. It was very easy for everybody to get in my room from the window. The room has a lot of stairs too.

The room at El Dorado Cabo de Gata was absolutely stunning! I loved waking up to the breathtaking views of the sea and the charming town. It made me feel like I was in a dream. As a beach lover, this was the perfect room for me.

Personally, I found the decor in the room a bit outdated. However, this is just my subjective opinion, and others may appreciate its vintage charm.
